Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine: Research Article}, volume={1}, url={https://actamedicaruha.com/index.php/pub/article/view/3}, DOI={10.5281/zenodo.7749209}, abstractNote={
Introduction: The computer has become almost indispensable in our lives in the current time period. With the developing technology, the health sector has also developed. With the development of the health sector, there is a significant increase in the amount of data. It is also important to keep data in the health sector. Artificial intelligence application was also used for the storage of personal data. Artificial intelligence is used in medicine for early diagnosis and disease prediction.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze in detail the fields of artificial intelligence technologies used in medical science. In addition, the contributions of artificial intelligence to the field of medicine are also mentioned.

Method: The research design of this study is document analysis/examination method. In this context, data were obtained by scanning from Google Academy, National Thesis Center and various databases. These data were analyzed and evaluations were made.

Results: Computer programs and computer hardware have become increasingly equivalent to technology. As a result of these developments, the concept of artificial intelligence has emerged. Artificial intelligence expects the work done by humans from computers. The processing of computers, which start with human intelligence and are inanimate tools, with the intelligence function has introduced the concept of artificial intelligence into our lives. Due to the increase in the data, it became difficult to analyze. Artificial intelligence application was also used for the storage of personal data. Artificial intelligence is used in medicine for early diagnosis and disease prediction. The survival rate has been increased thanks to artificial intelligence. Analyzes are needed to avoid costly treatments as well.

Conclusion: Artificial intelligence emerges as a system used in medicine, fast in early diagnosis and intervention, and financially convenient. We think that it is faster and more practical than human power.
}, number={1}, journal={Acta Medica Ruha}, author={Sayar, Berent}, year={2023}, month={Mar.}, pages={27–33} }
